PromptReview documentation
Everything administrators and employees need to register, sign in, install the extension, select projects, and use PromptReview safely in VS Code.
Organization administrators create and govern the workspace. Employees install the extension, sign in with their work email, choose the correct project, and use AI chat as usual.
For organization administrators
Administrators control membership and can view organization-wide prompt intelligence. They do not need to create projects manually—projects are selected by developers from VS Code.
From the home page, choose Create your account. Enter the organization name, administrator name and work email, organization domain, and expected extension-user count.
After platform activation, confirm the administrator email using the activation message. This makes the organization workspace available.
Open Sign in, choose Organization admin, then enter the organization domain and administrator email. Verify the one-time password sent to the administrator email.
Open Organization workspace, use Invite team members, and enter one or more work email addresses. Each person receives the extension setup instructions.
Select a team member to review their projects, prompts, model usage, token estimates, quality signals, and recommendations. Use Organization analytics for the wider view.
For employees and developers
PromptReview captures approved, human-authored AI requests against the project you select. It does not require employees to create projects in the web portal.
Use the organization domain and work email supplied by your administrator. You must be an active invited member before organization sign-in can succeed.
In VS Code, open Extensions and search for PromptReview, or install the VSIX supplied by your organization administrator. Reload VS Code after installation if asked.
Press Ctrl+Shift+P, run PromptReview: Complete Onboarding, choose Invited team member, enter your organization domain and work email, then verify the one-time password.
PromptReview asks you to use the current project or choose another. Pick the project that matches the work you are about to do. You can change it later from the Command Palette.
Press Ctrl+Shift+P and run PromptReview: Enable & Start HTTP Proxy. Wait for the confirmation, then use supported AI chat in VS Code normally. Review your personal workspace at any time.
